User Journey Configuration

This chapter will cover all the configuration you will apply to your User Journey in order to make it correctly simulate real world user behavior.

It is important that you do ensure your User Journey correctly simulates real world user behavior or otherwise the load you place on your application will not be the same as the load it will experience when being used by real users.

If this is the case (i.e. the User Journey(s) is/are unrealistic) there is a major danger that your performance test may provide acceptable results, yet the system slows down or crashes in the real world.  The opposite is also true; your performance test may report poor results which would not have occurred when the application was used by real users.

All aspects of User Journey configuration are performed in the User Journey workspace.
