The main purpose of performance testing is to gain information about how your application scales and performs under expected load.  If your application fails to scale and/or perform as you would like, you will want to understand the causes for the poor performance.

All this information and much more is available within the Analyze Results workspace.

For any performance test, there are a typical set of questions you will ask yourself during the test and after it has completed.  These will include the following:

  • Did performance degrade as load increased?  
  • Which User Journeys were the slowest?
  • Which Web pages degraded the most in the User Journeys?   
  • Which content within the page caused it to load slowly?
