GUI License

The GUI License determines whether the GUI runs in Designer or Controller mode.

Designer mode allows you to record and configure User Journeys (simulated business transactions) and to test the Journeys with up to 5 concurrent users.

Controller mode allows all that Designer does and also the configuration of resource monitoring, design of performance tests to scale to the required loads, and the analysis of performance test results.

The GUI License for a Controller also determines the maximum number of concurrent users that may be simulated during a performance test.
