Sentinel pricing

There are two licensing options for Sentinel:

  • Software as a Service: Reflective Solutions will provide the Sentinel Subscription Service, including all installation, configuration and maintenance at an annual price (typically $15,000 - $27,000 / £10,000 - £18,000 / €11,900 - €21,420 depending on the complexity of the monitoring solution).   • Software purchase: Purchase the Sentinel software and, following any configuration or consultancy required, configure and maintain the configuration yourself.

For clients who wish to purchase the Sentinel software, there are three licensable components:

Sentinel Controller
 
The Sentinel Controller allows you to record and configure User Journeys, configure the system monitoring, start, stop and restart monitoring and analyze the results – both in real-time and historically.
 
In order to use Sentinel, you must purchase at least one Controller license which includes the ability to simulate up to 18 business transaction – location combinations (for example, if you simulate users purchasing items from your online store from New York, London and Beijing, this would count as 3 combinations).
 
The Controller license also includes the Sentinel Alerting Facility; allowing your IT support personnel to be notified when unexpected performance or error conditions occur.
 
Sentinel Viewer
 
The Sentinel Viewer allows the results of a monitoring run to be viewed in real-time or historically.  
 
If you wish for more than one person to be able to view the results of the monitoring, and using the configurable analysis engine each user can have different ‘views’ of the monitoring results, you will need one Sentinel Viewer for each additional person (the first person would normally use the Sentinel Controller license).
 
Resource Monitor Packs
 
A Resource Monitor Pack allows you to monitor any number of instances of a technology; allowing the performance results to be correlated with system information to identify the cause of poor performance or unexpected errors when they are detected.

The powerful Sentinel Alerting Facility allows alerts to be sent by different delivery transports, to different recipients, when one or more thresholds are breached.
The thresholds, which metrics are of interest, delivery groups and options are all totally configurable, including calendars so that different groups get an alert at different times of the day, or different days of the week/year.

Customised Analysis
Customised Analysis

The information provided by Sentinel uses the same totally customisable analysis engine that exists within StressTester™.
Therefore, the graphs and data tables displayed can be highly customised - ensuring the information your organisation needs is displayed in the format your people require.

Track SLAs and History
Track SLAs and History

As well as providing real-time current information, Sentinel also keeps all historical data.
Sentinel can thus be used to provide SLA statistics and also monitor historical trends; allowing understanding of which times of the day, week, month or year provide the best and worst response times, use the least and most network, etc.

Service or Software

Sentinel can be provided as completely outsourced service or software that your personnel can use and configure as required.
