The Onshore-Offshore Process ensures there is never any "throwing over the wall" of requirements, deliverables or any other project artefacts. This is an approach that is very error prone; the problems with which are well documented and often used as an argument against outsourcing.

With Reflective Solutions, clients deal with the same UK project members throughout the whole project and all project members in both countries have the same culture, professional ethos and language.

The first stage of working with you as a new client is to gain an understanding of how you would like your projects and systems to work – this includes identifying the processes that suit your business, your systems architecture and any standards you wish us to adhere to.

By doing this we are aiming to ensure that the process of outsourcing (stages of) projects is as simple for you to adopt as is possible whilst ensuring the correct amount of procedure is in place to enable us to guarantee successful delivery.

We can then engage with you at whatever stage of the project lifecycle that suits you. Our business consultants’ requirements elicitation and documentation skills, and our architecture and design experience mean that we can assist you right from the beginning of the project if desired.

All Client Solutions projects are run within the UK Application Development Centre and all key project members – project manager, requirement’s owner, architect, designer, lead developer and test manager - are UK personnel.

By initially focusing on requirements, architecture and risk management, we rapidly get to the stage where the project is scoped and de-risked and is then suitable for transfer to Reflective Solutions Bulgaria.

Where we differ from most outsourcing companies is that when the project transfers so do key personnel for whatever period is necessary. Typically the requirements owner and lead developer will take the project to Bulgaria for an initial period. All project members in the UK still maintain their roles throughout the project so the client is always dealing with the same people.

When a project is coming to the end of development, it will return to the UK and be accompanied by one or more Bulgarian developers. These developers will assist during final internal testing and also take the deliverables to the client site and install and confirm acceptance.
